We believe that by presenting, questioning, and learning from the stories in Old North Church’s past, we can better understand our present and shape a future that reflects the promise of liberty and justice for all. Your donation will provide students with engaging learning opportunities, such as:

A History Mystery lesson, in which students evaluate conflicting evidence, identify bias and context, and present their conclusion as to who held the signal lanterns in Old North Church’s steeple.
A multidisciplinary curriculum that explores the connection between Old North Church’s early congregation, the cacao trade, and enslavement with an emphasis on history, economics, and geography.
A virtual Behind the Scenes tour, which introduces students to the unique spaces in Old North such as the crypt and bell ringing chamber, while sharing the stories of those who shaped the church into the iconic landmark that we know today.
