Jubilee invites you to answer the call of Justice Housing. Justice Housing combines quality housing with life-changing resources and opportunities that, together, lower barriers created by poverty and disenfranchisement. Fully realized, it fosters relationships of mutuality, inviting people to bridge traditional gaps in understanding, resulting in more inclusive neighborhoods and, ultimately, a more equitable city.

The need for action is immediate and widespread. The average rent for a two-bedroom apartment in the District recently reached $2,100—up 17 percent from the previous year. Without alternatives, families must earn close to $80,000 a year, or $40 an hour full-time, to reasonably afford D.C.’s average rent and not sacrifice money for food, health care, transportation, or child care.
