A great teacher is the single most important figure in supporting student success. Teachers of the Year (TOY) is an annual celebration of the most dynamic classroom educators from across LA County. TOY is an initiative of the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE), the largest regional education agency in the country. TOY draws from the 88 cities, and 80 school districts in LA County, representing nearly 40,000 educators serving 1.5 million school-age students.

The Greater LA Education Foundation (Greater LA) is thrilled to announce that in fall of 2020 we will launch a series of innovative programs to build on the TOY legacy, expand its reach, and scale the strategies that deliver results for the students of LA County. We invite you to join us and commit to the educators that are winning the fight for educational justice every day.
