$20 for 20 Years
Celebrate 20 years of protecting the Potomac River
by donating to Potomac Riverkeeper

For the past 20 years, our Potomac Riverkeepers; Ed Merrifield (2003 – 2014) and Dean Naujoks (2015 - Present) have been our eyes and ears on the water. They have carried out our mission to protect the public’s right to clean water in our rivers and streams, and stop pollution to promote safe drinking water, protect healthy river habitats, and enhance public use and enjoyment. This year, we’re asking for your support to help us continue this invaluable work.

A $20 donation to celebrate PRK’s 20-year anniversary can go a long way towards protecting your right to clean water.

Potomac Riverkeeper was established in 2000 by principals of local environmental groups to fulfill a niche for a strong advocate to enforce clean water laws for the Potomac River and its tributaries. For the past 20 years; we have fought against the big polluters (and won!), helped pass legislation to clean up dangerous coal ash, worked to require Alexandria to stop sewage dumping, launched a water quality monitoring program, and more! We have worked tirelessly so our community can enjoy not just our hometown river, but the nation’s river.

In order to maintain these programs, we need your help. We are grateful for all of our members in the Potomac Watershed, and continue to support our work! Please show your support with a donation today.

For the past 20 years; we have worked tirelessly so our community can enjoy the nation’s river. Your $20 gift will help protect your right to clean water.
