Give today to empower women and make a difference!
American Leprosy Missions is commemorating Women’s History Month by raising awareness and fighting to improve WASH (WAter, Sanitation and Hygiene) for women in neglected communities around the world.
We work to care for those suffering from neglected tropical diseases like leprosy where we find it and — thanks to an exciting medical breakthrough — actually end it in our time.
Today you can show Jesus’ love and compassion to someone whose body and soul is being ravaged by pain and shame!
So please give as God leads you today.
This fall, children in the U.S. are back to school, playing sports and socializing with their friends.
But children suffering from neglected tropical diseases like leprosy can’t go to school or play with their friends. Wounds make it difficult to walk from home to school. The stigma forces many to stay home. Leprosy can impact a child’s whole life and devastate their future.
Your gift will help us provide protective shoes for children affected by leprosy, contribute to school fees and supplies, help local hospitals find cases early and prevent disability among children.
Sadly, more than 40 children a day are diagnosed with leprosy. And 50% of the victims of the flesh-eating disease Buruli ulcer are under the age of 15. If left untreated, these diseases can cause crippling disabilities, shame and isolation.
When you support American Leprosy Missions, you are helping to provide treatment and care — and a brighter future — to children suffering from these terrible diseases around the world.
Thanks to supporters like you, we are working to carry out lifesaving work in marginalized communities and provide healing and hope to people whose lives have been devastated by leprosy and other neglected tropical diseases.
you can help make a miracle happen for people suffering from NTDs
