With the pandemic challenges occurring, we know many of you cannot come to Ferry Beach this year which is why we have reimagined our summer conferences. There will be guests here this summer, and we anticipate hosting small summer conferences and individuals, couples and families. But we will miss our big summer conference weeks.
Like you, we are sad. The Ferry Beach experience and programming won’t be quite the same and for that reason we will not be charging conference fees to participate in our online programming. However, in lieu of the standard fees we are asking for donation (a love offering to sustain Ferry Beach) to participate.
Ferry Beach typically draws in over $800,000 of revenue each summer. As a nonprofit organization we rely on that money to operate year-round. The loss of income is very challenging to our organization, but all of the communities that come to Ferry Beach are strong, and we can pull through together as one.
We know finances are challenging for many due to the pandemic and we understand. We ask that you contribute what you are able to participate in your reimagined Summer Conference this year. When considering what to donate, reflect on the Ferry Beach experiences you’ve enjoyed from years’ past and imagine what they can be in the years to come. Your support now will help ensure future moments of togetherness again.
