Virginia Western’s Community College Access Program: The promise of up to 3 years of tuition for eligible high school graduates will be needed now more than ever.

The Virginia Western Forward Endowment Fund: a vision of Dr. Charles W. Steger, Jr. builds permanent, flexible and visionary support of the College now in perpetuity.

Take Shanta, a student in the Human Services program of study. In her own words:

“The last 3 weeks have been life changing for me. I'm planning to graduate this spring but due to the circumstances I'm having doubt. I had to quit my job to dedicate my time to school. The college has moved all classes online.

With that being said, I don't have a laptop or computer. I'm not able to complete assignments and attend lectures via Zoom because of this. It breaks my heart to see how far I’ve come and the sacrifices I made to finish school.

I'm in desperate need of a laptop.

I will be forever grateful if I could get some help with this. I appreciate you guys taking the time out to help me with this. God Bless. You are greatly appreciated.”
