BASIS Benbrook Annual Teacher Fund

Your gift to the BASIS Benbrook Annual Teacher Fund is an investment in our faculty and directly impacts the quality of our classrooms. These donations, 100% of which are received by teachers as performance-based merit compensation, help recruit and retain the highest-quality educators by rewarding them for their effectiveness in the classroom.

Although in Texas, public charter schools receive less public funding than district schools, our network remains committed to maintaining our decades-long high standards of excellent student outcomes. We request an annual contribution of at least $1,500 per student, or a monthly pledge of $150 This represents a fraction of the annual cost of top private school education – to which our schools have always been comparable, according to any relevant assessment. We know that every family is different, so please give as generously as you can: every gift, no matter the size, has an impact.

Giving Levels (July 1st to June 30th Annually)

Receive extra benefits when you give at one of the below-giving levels:

Regulus $1,500–$2,499

• Copy and listing as a major donor in our annual magazine, Outcomes (printed and mailed to donors the following school year)

Vega $2,500–$4,999

• Same as above, plus

• Annual gift from BASIS Texas Charter Schools.

• Two tickets to the Annual Founders' Circle (Must reach giving level by 3/31 for an invitation to the event in the spring.)

Canopus $5,000–$9,999

• All of the above, plus

• Four tickets to the Annual Founders' Circle (Must reach giving level by 3/31 for an invitation to the event in the spring.)

Sirius $10,000 Plus

• All of the above, plus

• Invitation to exclusive Sirius Donor Event accompanied by our CEO, Peter Bezanson

Matching Gift Opportunities

You could double or even triple the amount of your donation if your employer provides matching gifts. Many employers match, dollar-for-dollar, the charitable gifts their employees make – so your $100 contribution can easily turn into a $200 gift with a match from your company.
