Many of the communities in which we work will be especially vulnerable to the repercussions of the pandemic. Our immediate focus is on supporting those children, families, and teachers finding the most impactful way to adapt our programs, expertise, and relationships to ensure access to the food and information they need to stay healthy.
For people in the communities we serve, the crisis will likely not end when the pandemic is over, as the economic aftershocks reverberate for families already living within, or no, safety nets. The inequities in access to healthy food that is rising to the surface now will continue long after this crisis.
Your contribution now is an investment in Common Threads' ability to continue to build stronger communities and systems in the months and years to come. Thank you for supporting our digital learning, health and wellness, and food distribution efforts.

Common Threads is a national nonprofit that provides children and families cooking and nutrition education to encourage healthy habits that contribute to wellness. We equip under-resourced communities with information to make affordable, nutritious and appealing food choices wherever they live, work, learn and play. We know that food is rooted in culture and tradition so we promote diversity in our lessons and recipes, encouraging our participants to celebrate the world around them.
