Our mission is to engage the San Francisco Bay Area with a loving God.
God is at work in the Bay Area, changing lives and reaching into a hyper-diverse metro-plex. YWAM San Francisco Bay Area is made up of focused leaders and teams engaging a people group, passion focus, or specific place.
PeopleThe Bay area is a kaleidoscope of ethnicities and cultures. Japanese, Brazilian, Vietnamese, Russian, Mexican, Thai, Native American, Punjabi, Indonesian and more form unique neighborhoods, restaurants and cultural entities throughout the Bay Area. The nations are at our doorstop and we are given a unique opportunity to share the love of Jesus with these unreached people groups.
PlacesNot only is the Bay Area composed of 9 counties, 101 cities, and 7,000 square miles it is further divided into a myriad of neighborhoods with specific and varied needs and interests.
Our ministries seek to bring the love of Christ in a relevant and concrete way to each community.
PassionsWhether your heart is combatting human trafficking, working in suicide prevention, tackling the world of drug and alcohol abuse, or pursuing the end of poverty and hunger, all are found here in the Bay Area.
We seek to engage activists in the areas of arts, education, media, and social justice to bring about powerful transformation in the Bay.
