SEM Link is a nonprofit that I founded in 2005 because of the difference I wanted to make in the world by creating an organization that provided opportunities for K-12 students to meet and interact with the STEM community (undergraduate and graduate students, professionals) in order to provide students with a vision of the possibilities of what they could be grow up included STEM careers. This year is the 12th year of the organization providing opportunities for youth to engage in hands on STEM
Our “Back to STEM” Semi-Annual Fundraising Campaign is our first fundraising campaign each fiscal year that takes place in August and September as we start another
year of “unveiling potential through exposure”. Each year our staff and boards are excited about the opportunity to expose youth to STEM and STEM careers while providing opportunities for them to meet and interact with members of the STEM community. We can’t achieve our mission without you; it is the financial support from individuals that provide us with the resources that we need for our programs and operations; typically 73% of the sources of funding for nonprofits comes from individuals.
During this campaign, we are asking that you help us #FillUpOurFlask
by making your tax-deductible financial contribution of $10, $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or whatever you can afford. Your contributions to this campaign will support our program activities that serve youth in Metro Atlanta and the DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia areas.
