People share those meals at low-income day care centers, after-school programs, shelters, and senior programs where they receive other services. It's almost a "fishes and loaves" miracle. Because 50+ people donate their time daily hungry people eat and learn, socialize, or get healthy. It's incredible
Second Helpings rescues perishable and overstocked food to prepare nutritious meals for thousands of children and families in need, and distributes them free of charge through 80 social service agencies in Greater Indianapolis.
