Help Pure Earth take on two of the top toxins: Lead and Mercury

In Bangladesh, Pure Earth conducted the country's first lead clean up, resulting in a 40% decline in children’s blood lead levels. But 62% of the nation's children still have elevated levels of lead in their blood. Nearly all of this is the result of informal used lead-acid battery (ULAB) recycling and lead-contaminated spices. In Peru, Pure Earth is pioneering solutions to reduce the use of mercury in artisanal mining. We are also mitigating mining’s impact on the Amazon rainforest by using forest restoration to ecologically close mining concessions. We partnered with artisanal mining associations and planted close to 8,000 saplings in the Madre de Dios region.
Help us make 2021 the Decade of Delivering Pollution Solutions!
