We're calling it the ODT Eaglemount section.
Since 1988, the Peninsula Trails Coalition has been working toward one goal:
Connect the Olympic Discovery Trail from Port Townsend to the Pacific.
It's time to finish one vital piece.
Make our way to Discovery Bay.
The ODT Eaglemount Fund will allow the Peninsula Trails Coalition to fill the gap in the Olympic Discovery Trail from the Larry Scott Memorial Trail to Highway 101, creating a safe, scenic, off-road connection to the foot of Discovery Bay for pedestrians, cyclists, horseback riders, and wheelchair users.
The first step is to complete a study that identifies a route for the ODT Eaglemount section. This study is required when applying for route acquisition and construction funds. The PTC has identified likely funding sources for that step—but that's just the beginning.
This is where YOU play a major role in making the connection.
With your help, the ODT Eaglemount Fund will help pay for:
- Route finding
- Trail building, including trailheads, kiosks, signage, and other amenities
- Long-term maintenance once the connection is complete
Let's grow the ODT Eaglemount Fund to an initial goal of $20,000 and connect the Olympic Discovery Trail from Jefferson to Clallam County—at last!
Give today. Together, we will make the connection.
