Hi everyone! Thank you for donating to RYSE 2021! The RYSE staff and participants appreciate it a lot.
Refugee Youth Summer Enrichment (RYSE) was created in 1986 by five Harvard undergraduates that recognized the need for summertime English as a Second Language (ESL) programming among the growing refugee and immigrant communities of Greater Boston.
Students dedicate themselves to serving teenaged immigrants and refugees by improving their English language skills, addressing the gap in SAT scores between native speakers and English Language Learners (ELL), and broadening their access to college and institutions of higher learning.
