Please join us for our 13th Annual LVNRV Scrabble Tournament on Thursday, April 4th, 2019, from 5:30-8:30 pm at Great Road on Main in downtown Christiansburg.
All proceeds support free tutoring for adults to provide them with the skills they need
for personal independence and family self-sufficiency.
Teams of 3 will play 2 games of Scrabble against different teams with the scores from both games added together to determine the winner. We have added two categories of play to the event -- you can enter in the "Competitive" or the "Just for Fun" category!
Awards will be given to the Top Scorer, Longest Word, Highest Score Word, Most Creative Team Name, and more!
The event will kick off with a delightful selection of appetizers at 5:30 pm; the first game will be at 6:15 pm followed by a short break and a second game.
A team of 3 people is $100 or you can sign up as an individual and we will match you to a team for $35.
We are offering several sponsorship opportunities:
Bingo Sponsor: $1000 contribution -- your company will be included in the name of the tournament (ex. Literacy Volunteers of the New River Valley Scrabble Tournament Co-Sponsored by YOUR COMPANY) and therefore all tournament promotions; additionally, you will have the benefits listed for the Triple Letter sponsors.
Triple Letter Sponsor: $500 contribution - includes tickets for two teams (6 tickets); additionally sponsorship recognition will occur at the event (you will have the opportunity to hang your banner and/or speak if you so choose) and on our website/social media, and your logo will be included in the program.

Thank you so much for your support! Together, we can help adults in the New River Valley change their lives -- and the lives of their children -- through literacy.
