Weclome to the Write ONE for Linn Grove Campaign!

Linn Grove PTO is shaking things up for school year 2017-2018! We are focusing on the FUN and less on the FUNDRAISING. We have BIG dreams and BIG goals and with YOUR support we are excited to do BIG things for our Linn-Grove staff and students!

This year we have set a goal of $15,000 and we need YOUR help! Every size gift is welcome and will have a huge impact on our students and staff here at Linn Grove! **Write One for Linn Grove fundraising overall goal is $15,000. Online goal only indicates $8,000 as many of our families write checks instead of online giving.

OUR GOAL WORKS OUT TO BE A $30 DONATION PER STUDENT – WE ARE THEN ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH ALL OF OUR GOALS FOR STUDENT SUPPORT IN 2017-2018, HOW AMAZING WOULD THAT BE!

How great is this? ONE time for your child to ask family and friends for donations!

The Write ONE for Linn Grove kick-off begins October 16th and goes thru November 17th – that is 5 weeks to collect donations!!!! Please keep in mind that you can also donate anytime ONLINE thru April 15, 2018.

WHY ARE we doing this? In a word, Simplicity! Every family benefits from a successful annual campaign. We know that budgeting for the whole year makes programming easier, fits into everyone’s busy schedule and is cost effective!! 100% of your donation goes to Linn Grove to be used THIS school year. This also gives every family the opportunity to voluntarily support Linn Grove at the level that best suits them. Funds raised benefit the needs of the entire school!!!

  

To reach our goal of $15,000 all we need is $30 per student! FOR the WHOLE year! This provides our students science night, movie night, field trips, family fun night, PBIS support, ROAR, math & reading night and so many other FREE events and classroom support.

  

So what happens if we don’t meet our goal? If we don’t meet our fundraising goal it will unfortunately mean we will have to cancel events or cut some of our funding to already budgeted items. And because of when our fundraising takes place it will be events toward the end of the school year. NO Science Night, No Breakfast w/Buddies, etc. Also, it could affect 5th Grade Send Off, Family Fun Night and Staff Appreciation events…

Our success depends on 100% participation. Whether you can give $5 or $500, your contribution is important. Your gift shows that the Linn Grove community cares deeply about the quality education and supports the school’s mission through voluntary giving.
