Help grandparents raising grandchildren!
Rasing a second family isn't something you choose to do as a grandparent. It's something you're called to do. It's not an easy role and it can be especially difficult when your grandchildren have special needs. Trying to navigate educational and social service systems is very challenging even for younger parents. On top of all of that, when your income is fixed, providing just the necessities requires everything you have.
YOU CAN HELP!
Your donation provides services and supports for an inspiring group of grandparents and their grandchildren who are experiencing extreme hardship and financial adversity this year. This includes individual case management by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, support group meetings, emergency material assistance and an annual family outing.
With your help we can ensure that grandparents raising grandchildren or other relatives with developmental disabilities, chronic health conditions and learning and behavior disorders have the resources they need to help these special children reach their full potential.
Together, we can reduce the emotional, economic and physical stresses of grandparents rearing dependents with special needs. Please be as generous as you can!
