Clinch County 2019 End of Year Campaign
2019 was a year of further laying the foundation for Called to Care in our county. We have experienced a significant increase in the number of church partners and community support, allowing us to meet the physical needs of the foster community.
Still, we recognize that meeting physical needs is just an opening to meet spiritual needs. We are incredibly grateful for our church partners who have stepped in and are forging relationships with these children, foster families, and biological families that desperately need Jesus. Our hope is that, even though we can’t change the situation they are in, we can bring light by spreading the love of Christ.
We are confident these efforts will show broken families what a mighty God we serve. Even if they are living in darkness, there is a light and they can put their hope in Him.
Additionally, we have focused our efforts on strengthening the relationship with our local DFCS staff - providing direct support in a meaningful way by utilizing local community partners and the faith-based community.
A new collaboration in 2019 with local ministry Project 13:16 provided space for a much-needed journey bag closet that we hope to fill in 2020. Your support in the coming year will allow us to have what we need to reach more children and families, ultimately sharing the love of Christ to all we encounter.
We have so many opportunities for you to engage and connect with Called to Care in whatever capacity you are comfortable. We would love for you to join us by volunteering or donating. Reach out to us any time!
