About Empty Bowls
Empty Bowls is a nationwide grassroots effort to raise both money and awareness in the fight to end hunger, personalized by artists and art organizations on a community level. Guests choose a bowl handmade by a local artist, fill it with soups donated by area restaurants, and keep the bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. In exchange for the meal and the bowl, guests make a donation to the Franklin Food Bank in the form of ticket purchases. 100% of the proceeds from this event goes directly to the Franklin Food Bank.
