Jaxson’s parents look forward to him being placed with his ECAD Service Dog. They know his new companion will allow him to experience life in a safer, more independent way.
Meet ECAD Client: Jaxson Silva
My name is Jaxson Silva and I am here to ask for your help.
Much like how you probably were at six years old, I, too, love to swim, read books, visit local attractions, and spend time with my family. I also have to do things a little differently.
You see, I’ve faced a few challenges growing up. Talking wasn’t so easy for me at first and my parents tried so many therapies and strategies to help me develop all of the skills that I have today. I’m getting better at talking and navigating crowded areas in a safe and enjoyable way.
With your help, a specially trained ECAD Service dog can assist me and others like me.
If I were to get a Service Dog, my parents could be alerted if I were to get injured. A Service Dog could help me navigate busy places more safely by keeping me close to my parents. I would have a close companion at all times, even keeping me company to fall asleep at night. My dog would also help me become more responsible by having to regularly brush it, feed it and go for walks.
Even though I continue to live with some challenges, I have so much hope for the future because of YOUR help. With a Service Dog, I can live my life on my own terms, in a way that works for me.
Thank you in advance for your generous donation to ECAD in my honor. My family and I greatly appreciate your generous support!
