Cradles to Crayons is a wonderful organization that provides essentials (including clothing, toys, books, shoes, and more) to children from birth to twelve years old by connecting communities that have with communities that need. Whether you are able to donate your children's gently used items, make a monetary donation, or lend your time as a volunteer at the warehouse, you are directly impacting children in Philadelphia. By donating $33.00, you are giving one child a "kid-pack" filled with a clean pair of shoes, a set of five reading books, a bag filled with one week's worth of clothing, a collection of toys, and pending availability, brand new underwear, socks, and more. This summer, I joined the Teen Leader Corps, where I will serve over 40 hours in the warehouse in addition to having fundraisers and donation drives. Thank you for taking the time to kickstart my fundraiser by donating to Cradles to Crayons.
According to numerous surveys completed in 2014, Philadelphia ranked number three for the highest rate of concentrated poverty, behind Detroit and Phoenix. This alarming statistic immediately sparked my interest and desire to try to make a difference in my community. Simply by spreading awareness for Cradles to Crayons, a compelling organization based in our own community, thousands of children are given the essentials to succeed in everyday situations.
Please help our 2017-18 Teen Leadership Corps members reach their goal!
These student leaders are supporting the mission of Cradles to Crayons to provide everyday essentials to local children in need throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Each TLC member will be leading volunteer shifts in our Giving Factory warehouse and has pledged to raise at least $500 during their term.
Your donation on this page will go toward the entire TLC campaign, or you can choose a Teen Leader from the "Our Fundraisers" box on the lower right to support an individual student's efforts.
We are proud of their initiative and grateful for their efforts.
Thank YOU for supporting them!
