Hook up the leash to your favorite pooch or two and head on over to Hugh MacRae Park for the 11th Annual Walk & Dog Dash. A small registration fee of just $25 helps to raise funds for the organization in a family fun way. Individuals and teams can form groups and raise money as a team to help create even more opportunities for people with disabilities.

What: Fun dog walk around Hugh MaeRae Park with activities for your dog and you.
How much: $25 for Adult; $15 for Students (13 to 19 years) and children 12 and under free with participating adult (no tee shirt provided); Day-of Event $25 for Adults or Students

Walk Event Rules (yes, there has to be):
This is a fundraising event and all participants must pay a registration fee.
Limit 2 dogs per adult (over 19 years of age).
Dogs must be on a 6-foot leash; NO FLEXI LEADS; NO E-COLLARS
No aggressive dogs
Please clean up after your dog
Canines for Service is a North Carolina based non-profit corporation dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to achieve greater independence. The group provides job skills training to Veterans who learn to train service dogs, provides pet therapy classes and certification to people and their pets and helps children in our community improve their reading skills with the Canines for Literacy program. Canines for Service has provided over $12.6 million in services to our community since inception in 1996 and is the only Assistance Dogs International Accredited service dog organization in North Carolina.
