Creative expression has always been an integral part of the Burning Man experience. The art is often times allegorical, experimental, and interactive. As you’ve no doubt experienced first-hand, art is one of the many ways that we express ourselves, connect with others, and build communities.
We have a long history of bringing playa art to the world, fueled by pioneers like Kate Raudenbush, Laura Kimpton, Leo Villareal, and many others. As an integral part of our mission, we are now increasing our Black Rock City Arts Honoraria Program as well as forging new global partnerships, further elevating the discourse and participation in Burning Man arts and community.
